Located in Western Kentucky, near the intersection of the Pennyrile Parkway and the Western Kentucky Parkway, the property boasts many lakes for fishing and duck hunting. The state of Kentucky has ranked second in the nation in producing trophy whitetail deer since 1991. Hopkins County is one of the top areas in state for native whitetail deer and wild turkey. The area is interspersed with ridges and hollows, heavily forested with hardwood and pine, and contains open fields which provide and ideal natural habitat. Food plots are maintained throughout the year for healthy game and big racks on bucks.
Located near Morton's Gap Kentucky, Forest Lakes Lodge is a deer and turkey hunters' paradise. The total seclusion of the property, with no public roads crossing it, makes it ideal for whitetail deer and wild turkey. The size of the bucks taken each year is phenomenal with three making the Boone and Crockett record book in two seasons.
The beauty of the area alone is something to see.
The free range and free chase property provides all levels of challenges for true sportsman. We maintain a safe protected environment for both the game and the sports person. The number of hunters on our property is limited according to the number and quality of game available to ensure the abundant availability of trophy catches. We have specific acreage dedicated exclusively to the bow enthusiast.
Forest Lakes is a wilderness of hardwood forests, numerous lakes and food plots. We plant clover, wheat, corn, wild game sorghum, and chufa for the health and welfare of our wildlife. In cold weather when the ground is covered with ice and snow we have numerous feeding stations stocked with corn and wheat to provide nutrition for our wildlife during difficult times. This supports survival as well as growth and produces trophy game.
